Microsoft and Google continue to keep each other on their toes. Microsoft agreed to change the way its new version of Windows, called Vista, searchines because Google felt it was copying Google Desktop Search.
Microsoft would not do this simply to make Google happy; we know it doesn’t want to get along with Google. It wants to beat Google. But it seems that Google made a complaint to the U.S. government and because Microsoft is under orders to avoid anti-competitive behavior, it had to do what Google requested.
